Animal Behaviour and Welfare field work
In the first year you visit the Slapton Ley Field Station in South Devon. Here you will study the behaviour and welfare of both wild animals and agricultural livestock. You will also learn how to assess human impact on local biodiversity.

In the second year, from our base in Utrecht, the Netherlands, you will visit some of the most interesting zoos and environmental parks in Europe, including Arnhem Zoo, Amsterdam Zoo, Apenheul Primate Park and Rotterdam Zoo. The field trip provides opportunities for detailed studies of behaviour in relation to the animals' physical and social environment, and review the conservation programmes at different centres.
