T. Clay Buck, CFRE

Director of membership and annual giving, The Smith Centre for the Performing Arts, USA

"From 20+ years in front-line fundraising and as a consultant, I believe the fundraising profession as a whole, particularly in the United States, suffers from an inferiority complex.

"We have brilliant practitioners who second guess themselves and allow external forces to affect what we know to be highly effective and ethical fundraising.

"I joined Rogare because I want to contribute to the research and thought leadership that will elevate and encourage the profession."
