Carole Richard, CFRE, Development Director of Modesto Symphony Orchestra, finds absolute joy in matching donors who love music with a progressive symphony orchestra that fosters lifelong music appreciation and education.

She has worked in the arts, higher education and healthcare. She was the first Fund Development Director at Community Hospice, Inc. in Modesto, CA, USA, raised $4.1 million of a $2.9 million goal for the Alexander Cohen Hospice House and helped create the Community Hospice Foundation.

Prior to fundraising, Carole was a legislative advocate for California Community Colleges. She has a BA degree in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a law degree and holds her Certified Fund Raising Executive certification. She is active in her local Association of Fundraising Professionals, Yosemite Chapter, and was a founder and past president and is a member of Rotary International, Modesto, CA.
