Director of Advancement, The Oaks Academy, USA

“First, I’m part of Rogare to help put research into practice.

"As a full-time practitioner, it's clear that many active fundraising professionals either do not have professional training and/or are not plugged in to the research available. Both should inform each other - and Rogare will bridge that disconnect.

"Additionally, I'd like to help ‘grow giving’. The proliferation of the nonprofit sector, along with the relatively stagnant amount of philanthropic funds available year-to-year, means that each organisation is fighting over smaller pieces of the pie...instead, let's grow the pie and truly increase giving.”
