Corine Aartman

Programme manager, Wild Geese Foundation, Netherlands

"I'm excited to become part of the Rogare community to push for a key shift in how fundraisers analyse and develop their work.

"I want to bring my ideas, experience and curiosity to help fundraisers worldwide make a difference. And I’m particularly keen to include those who cannot access this information so easily, because they work in remote areas or with small organisations.

"Through trying, testing, exchange and debate we build new understanding and knowledge together."

Corine Aartman successfully built strong and very innovative fundraising programs for INGO’s such as UNICEF, Cordaid and for women’s and children’s rights activist groups. She then founded BLOOM Consultancy to work with social changemakers in Europe, Asia and Latin America as a consultant and trainer. Her focus is on building people’s fundraising capacities to make NGOs more sustainable.

Corine is currently program manager with Wild Geese Foundation, where she develops Change the Game, a co-creation program with local partners in India, Brazil and Kenya. This hybrid learning program aims to strengthen small NGO’s in emerging economies in local fundraising and claim-making.

Corine has co-founded the Dutch Fundraisers Association (now part of IF, Instituut Fondsenwerving). She has given fundraising workshops and courses at IF Academy, Avans University of Applied Sciences and at fundraising conferences worldwide.
