The Dominic List Innovation Fund
Dominic List and the Futures Entrepreneurship Centre have worked together to create the Dominic List Innovation Fund, launched in November 2013 to help support and encourage student entrepreneurship at Plymouth University.

The Dominic List innovation Fund is an exciting new opportunity for students to gain funding and support to scale up their start-up business
and move to the next level!

  • Are you a Plymouth University student?
  • Do you have a scalable business idea?
  • Can you show motivation, ability and capacity to develop your idea and run a business?
Students who have completed the Enterprise Beta Programme or can show us that they possess the necessary skills and knowledge, can pitch for support and a loan of up to £50,000 to help develop their business further.

Students have the opportunity to take part in a practice pitch and receive feedback before taking part in a real pitch for the funding. The pitch is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business to a panel of experts. If you are successful a dedicated mentor will be appointed to help you to develop your enterprise and entrepreneurial skills and implement your idea.

The mentors also will support the students in developing their business ideas to ensure the fund is used in the most appropriate way.
