In the School of Law, Criminology and Government, whether you are an undergraduate or GDL student, you will be assigned a personal tutor from the beginning of your studies. You will meet with your personal tutor in induction week, and be advised as to the nature of the role and function of the personal tutor.
You will normally remain with that personal tutor throughout the duration of your course, enabling you to build an effective relationship with them. Your personal tutor will also assess your GEAR (Graduate Employment and Achievement Record) at each stage and offer you the necessary feedback and guidance to take forward to the next stage.
