  • 9.35 - 10.00: UKRO services; Horizon 2020 – an overview, update on 2017 calls and interim evaluation; Navigating the Participant Portal – finding calls and partners and submitting proposals (Małgorzata Czerwiec)
  • 10.00 - 10.45: Brexit - update on developments, implications and experiences so far, Q&A; International collaborations within and beyond Europe - tips on building successful collaborations and finding partners (Małgorzata Czerwiec)
  • 10.45 - 11.30: Opportunities under Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (Innovative Training Networks, Research and Innovation Staff Exchanges, Individual Fellowships) (Małgorzata Czerwiec / Ewa Thompson)
  • 11.30 - 12.00: Plymouth case studies - successful EU collaborations including non-EU partners (Professor Long-yuan Li / Dr Rupert Jones)

  • 13.00 - 13.30: Opportunities to work with industry in Horizon 2020 - FET, ICT, Industrial Leadership and Societal Challenges (Małgorzata Czerwiec)
  • 13.30 - 14.00: Plymouth case studies - successful EU collaborations including non-academic partners/industry (Professor Deborah Greaves / Professor Genhua Pan)
  • 14.00 - 14.30: Opportunities for Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) (Małgorzata Czerwiec / Ewa Thompson)
  • 14.30 - 15.00: Plymouth case studies - successful EU projects including social sciences (Dr Haya Al-Dajani / Professor Shaofeng Liu)
  • 15.00 - 16.00: Q&A about EU funding (e.g. general issues related to grant agreements, collaboration agreements, open access, research data management, finance, ethics, etc.) This session would be of particular interest to R&I and other colleagues supporting researchers (Małgorzata Czerwiec / Ewa Thompson)
