Save event

This event considered the implications of Brexit in the South West in key policy areas such as: community relations, economic development, employment, healthcare, migration and the region's place in the world.

Aimed at stakeholders from the public, private and voluntary sectors, it showcased recent research on the issue, including the iSPER Brexit Papers – a series of reports written by academics and aimed specifically at policy makers, as well as other related academic research.

Attendees also discussed the opportunities and challenges of Brexit, how the South West could prepare for these, and the key priorities for future research and academic/stakeholder engagement on the issue.

The event was organised by the University’s Institute for Social, Policy and Enterprise Research (iSPER) through its South West Brexit Lab.
