Shanghai Summer School

Learn about China at Shanghai Maritime University next summer. Visit one of the world’s most exciting cities, learn some Mandarin, grasp this exciting international educational opportunity and make yourself more employable!

This summer school is a great opportunity to learn at first hand more about China, its history, its present and its future. Shanghai Maritime University is a longstanding and valued partner of the University of Plymouth and this four week experience will be a memorable and valuable part of your student experience.  

The summer school course fees, accommodation and your food will be provided by the University of Plymouth.  

The Shanghai Summer School academic content starts on Tuesday 19 June and ends on Friday 13 July 2018.  

The summer school is open to all non-final stage / year undergraduate students studying at the University of Plymouth and its partner colleges. Unfortunately exchange students are not eligible for this summer school.

City College Plymouth are also organising a trip to Huzhou University in Zhejiang Province, to learn about China; its culture, Mandarin Language; Society and Business; Local Food; Tourist Sightseeing, etc. and offering the experience to all University of Plymouth students.
The cost is approximately £1,500.
