We've tried to provide all the information you will need if you are thinking about coming to study at Plymouth University from Zimbabwe. If you need to know anything else, you can contact our team using the details below.

You would normally be expected to have a minimum of 3 ZIMSEC A levels to be considered for first year entry. The required grades will vary according to the programme for which you are applying. Please see the relevant course page for detailed A level requirements. In addition, you should have achieved a grade “C” in English and Maths in your ZIMSEC O levels.

If you only hold ZIMSEC O level or your A level points are not sufficient for first year entry, you will be required to take a recognised international foundation programme. Our partner college on campus, Plymouth University International College (PUIC), offers a wide variety of foundation courses.

We would usually expect you to hold a good bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. For our taught master programmes you should have achieved a minimum of 60 per cent in your bachelors; for our research programmes you should have achieved a minimum of 65 per cent in your bachelor degree. The Specialist Diploma is also considered for entry into our master programmes.

You can apply for our postgraduate programmes online, by going to the relevant course page and choosing 'Apply Now'.

Visa requirements

Contact the British Embassy to apply for your visa as soon as you've been accepted by the University. You'll need a CAS form (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies), and to show that you have enough money to fund your education and living expenses in the UK. We'll send more detailed information about visa application if you're successful in securing a place with us.

Make sure you allow enough time for your application to be processed.
