The study of history provides a new insight into our past and can lead to diverse and interesting careers. Whether you want to introduce new topics or extend the understanding of topics you have already covered, our outreach activity will not only enhance learning but also prepare students for university-level study.

Get involved

University workshops

Do you want your students to experience university-level teaching? Bring a group of students to a university workshop on a text or topic related to your syllabus. Your students will gain valuable knowledge relevant to their current exams while simultaneously getting a feel for what it is like to learn as part of a research community.

Bring a class to a public lecture

University of Plymouth hosts a number of history public lectures delivered by renowned speakers from Plymouth and other universities.

Young Arts Pass 

Each season University of Plymouth Arts Institute presents free access to selected Arts Institute events for young people aged 18 and under.

Bring along a group of students and experience dance, theatre, talks and exhibitions. Accompanying teachers also get a free ticket.
