"During my degree in Nutrition, Exercise and Health, I have been fortunate to undertake a number of placements. The first involved working with the University of Plymouth's own explorer in residence, Antony Jinman. My work mainly involved using my nutritional and exercise based skills that I learnt on the course to help prepare Antony for his expedition to the South Pole. Alongside this, I also worked closely with a number of primary education students to help produce nutritional resources linked to his expedition for local schools.
My second placement has involved working with the University of Plymouth PhD students on their food related projects, with my recent work involving working with a student on his research regarding the addition of inulin to kebab meat products to reduce their fat content".
