The LSRC is a superb facility in which you will be able to complement your life sciences learning, aided with the guidance of experienced academic staff. An extensive array of resources exists, which includes recommended text books, anatomical models and medical imaging, including magnetic resonance and radiographic medical imaging. You will be timetabled to these facilities during the early years of the Programme, although many students also make use of the facilities for quiet private study. During the timetabled sessions you will be able to discuss and interact with staff – these discussions are intended to deepen and widen your understanding of the particular topic(s) you will be studying within your Enquiry-Based Learning (EBL) groups. These sessions are thoroughly enjoyable and often involve lively interaction with both colleagues and staff.
