“The course was great. The tutors were always really helpful to give specific advice to each student. They really boosted my confidence and helped me to get more out of my work.

I learnt a range of techniques, and most importantly I learnt how to develop ideas into a finished professional end product. It gave me the time to develop my own style, and the advice I needed to stand on my own two feet.

I now work as a full-time freelance illustrator and painter. I've worked in print, magazine work and design. In the last year I've created my own comic, Jeff Job Hunter, which was released through Nobrow Press as well as having two solo exhibitions of my paintings.

My biggest achievements are being able to support myself through something I love doing, and catching the attention of You Can Now and having work come through them.

My work has been used in a big campaign for the Daddy Donkey Mexican grill chain and has been produced with Nobrow Press in a variety of books, prints and products too. Check out my website and blog.”
