Senior Researcher at Forensic Architecture, Samaneh Moafi provides conceptual oversight across a number of projects, with a focus on developing new evidentiary techniques for environmental violence. Samaneh’s PhD thesis examined struggle and resistance from the home, with a focus on gender and class relations in Iran. Recent investigations that Samaneh has led include ‘Tear Gas in Plaza de la Dignidad’ and ‘The Beirut Port Explosion’.
