Richard Beckett, lecturer at the Bartlett School of architecture, researches how we can innovate the approach of the creation of more sustainable, resilient and healthy strategies for the built environment. By exploring how we can design for and amalgamate living matter within buildings, we’re able to better understand how to optimise health of the individual and of the planet. We’re in a moment in time where both are becoming increasingly volatile and valuable. Does Richard’s body of research hold some answers?
