Karl Parsons graduated in 2009:
"I was lucky enough to be offered a position working in low energy building soon after graduating. My degree gave me an excellent background for this role: a confidence in the basics of design, and energy - though the learning curve was very steep and remains so!
I work as a Passivhaus Designer and undertake thermal bridge modelling, maintaining links with the University by sharing knowledge with current students whenever possible. Architectural technology is well placed to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the drive towards energy efficient buildings, these are exciting times for the profession."
