Leadership pathway

The MSc Global Health (Leadership) pathway builds on the strong and reputable delivery of postgraduate education for many years at the University of Plymouth both in global health and our significant expertise and success in delivering leadership education and training across the South West through the healthcare management and leadership programme. This is also completed by the excellent work of our partners in the University of Plymouth’s Global Health Collaborative and their leadership initiatives around the globe.

The programme will prepare students for a leadership or specialist role in global healthcare and related systems, encouraging innovation in optimising evidence-based practice to achieve the best possible health outcomes for unique patient populations in global settings. The pathway is suitable for clinicians at any stage in their medical or allied healthcare career, including being open to intercalating medical students. It is also suitable for healthcare managers, administrators or researchers wanting to become a global healthcare leader of the future.

All students will be linked to the University of Plymouth Global Health Collaborative to gain from the wide range of leadership initiatives for global health undertaken here in the South West. These are likely to provide significant opportunities for dissertation ideas and further research.
