Drake's Place events

There are events for everyone here - it's a place to unwind, refuel, play table tennis or just let off steam.

Beautifully restored to its former glory, Drake’s Place is a hub for events and activities, with a lively programme each year. Come along and get involved - there are community days, craft fairs, art workshops, storytelling and performances, celebrations and lots more. Many events are accredited by Children's University

This award-winning community space is a calm and relaxing oasis amidst the whirl of urban living. An accessible welcoming haven and a safe diverse habitat for wildlife.

Reservoir Café BBQs

Making the most of this beautiful weather we are now resuming our weekly BBQ’s.

Come and find us outside Reservoir Café every Thursday between 12:00-2:00 during term time (please note our BBQ’s are weather dependant).
