Plymouth Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Plymouth Junior Chamber

Plymouth Chamber and Junior Chamber exist to improve our area's business environment. They also offer networking and skills opportunities.

Plymouth Chamber of Commerce and Industry

As well as improving the business environment for Plymouth and the South West Peninsula, the Plymouth Chamber enables members to benefit from being part of a proactive business organisation.

Using the Plymouth local economic strategy as a guide, Plymouth Chamber strives to promote member interests, leveraging influence where appropriate as the independent voice of local business, to represent member views and priorities in relation to the local economy and to work in partnership with the community. The Chamber also runs an active programme of events and training to provide opportunities for members of all sizes and in all industry sectors.

Plymouth Junior Chamber

Appealing to those in business or education aged between 16 and 35, the Plymouth Junior Chamber offers a calendar of events and training tailored to early career and workplace development. All Plymouth Chamber member employees who sit within this age range receive automatic membership to the Junior Chamber.

The University has a close working relationship with Plymouth Chamber and regularly takes part in events and conversations around city development. Through Plymouth Business School, we've a formal partnership agreement with the Junior Chamber. As a Plymouth student, this agreement offers you access to member benefits, including valuable networking and skills opportunities, during your studies.
