Santander Graduate Internships
Have you recently graduated? Could an internship help to develop your skills and work experience?
An internship is a great way to gain work experience in a sector that you are interested in working in!
The University of Plymouth in partnership with Santander Universities are offering funding to employers which will offset the cost of hiring of our alumni into a graduate role. The amount is intended to partially cover the employees’ wages which should be match funded by the organisation. The funding can contribute £150 per week for up to 10 weeks, with the expectation that the organisation will also contribute at least £150 per week to the wages.
To be eligible the organisation must meet the following criteria:
- They are a small and/or medium enterprise (SME) with fewer than 250 employees
- They have a turnover of less than £50 million a year
- They provide a contract of employment and pay you, the employee, through their payroll system
- They have suitable liability insurance
So, if you have graduated in the last 2 years or are currently in your final year of study, you may be able to create an opportunity with a business by informing them that you could be eligible for Santander Graduate Internship funding.
If you find an employer that is interested in this opportunity, either yourself or the employer can find out more by contacting the student jobs team at email@example.com
