"I absolutely loved my university and my tutors. It was the first time in my life when I was encouraged to be weird, be creative, to stand out, to think critically. I have such an amazing memories from Plymouth. Studying really helped me to believe in myself and to be critical of my work."

Tell us what you have been doing since completing your studies.

Working super hard to achieving all my goals!

Has your career path changed since graduation?

I have gone from shooting everything to selecting the jobs I would like to shoot which has been very liberating.

What is the most difficult thing which you have faced in your career?

Setting myself new goals and trying new things all the time. Once you have reached your goal you need to find new, exciting projects and jobs to lift you to a higher level. Always searching and pushing for new experiences.

What is the best, most exciting or fun thing that you have done in your career?

I have started to travel for most of my shoots and I absolutely love meeting new inspiring people and hearing their stories!

What, if anything, would you do differently if you could?

I would have believed in myself more and I wish I had discovered vision boarding and visualisation a bit earlier in my life.

What advice would you give to anyone wanting to get in to the same line
of work?

Never give up! Push hard. There are no limits to a talent.

How did studying at Plymouth help you?

I absolutely loved my university and my tutors. It was the first time in my life when I was encouraged to be weird, be creative, to stand out, to think critically. I have such an amazing memories from Plymouth. Studying really helped me to believe in myself and to be critical of my work.

What is your favourite memory of studying at Plymouth?

So many beautiful memories. Endless chats with my amazing tutors, loosing track of time in the darkroom, getting lost in the library trying to read as many books as possible.

Do you stay in touch with other Plymouth University alumni or lecturers?

Yes I still talk to few of my Uni friends and I follow my lecturers on social media. I wish I could go back to visit one day.

Would you recommend undertaking a course with Plymouth University, and why?

Plymouth is great. The University is simply amazing and being surrounded by the sea, the nature and having time to relax and be creative,
as opposed to studying in a busy city commuting half of the day, it’s something that makes studying much more pleasurable.

Is there anything else which you would like to share with our current students?

Follow your soul. You are here for a reason! Don’t waste your precious time as it goes by so fast!
