Service Affected: Alma and Primo

Incident Summary: Alma and Primo offline

Date Issue Raised: 1 October 2018

Date Issue Resolved: 1 October 2018

Incident Description: Alma and Primo functionality is unavailable (issuing/returning books, purchase/management of stock, user-facing search engine and account management, all full-text eresource access).

There was a slow performance issue that affected SharePoint departmental team sites between 0955–1015 today (Tuesday 25 September 2018).

This was escalated to Microsoft and I am pleased to advise service was quickly restored.

Planned maintenance history

Moodle/DLE maintenance

On Sunday 16th December between 07:00 and 09:00 Moodle/DLE will not be available to allow for essential maintenance to be carried out.

Campus power down 

Further to the announcement by Estates, in the University Bulletin, for the planned Plymouth campus power down on Sunday 18 November 08:00 – 09:00 we are requesting that you please power-down and switch off at the mains any staff PCs/Laptops/Printers in your local work space. Please note we will remotely power down student and lectern PCs. Further details are available on TIS Self Help – just search on ‘power down’ or follow this link

Please note that you will still be able to remotely access Office 365, Moodle(DLE), OneDrive for Business, Team Sites and email.
