This 20 credit masters-level module will develop your understanding of the multisystem effect of diabetes impacting on the lower limb whilst also providing you with the skills to evaluate current therapies, interventions and help patients manage modifiable risk factors associated with this condition.
You will use your existing practice experience to gain increased clinical autonomy, embedding theoretical knowledge from advanced study and analysis of contemporary diabetes research specifically related to lower limb complications. You will also evaluate contemporary approaches to assessment of modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors and appraise current research concerned with diabetes and the management of the condition.
