This 20 credit module is aimed at registered practitioners working or wishing to work in a community or primary care setting who wish to equip themselves with the necessary generic practice skills to function within this environment whilst encouraging a critical view of practice.
A multi-professional educational team and experts from practice, including a variety of visiting lecturers currently working in health and social care, will draw upon different perspectives of community/ primary care to give you a unique experience to include:
- assessment skills and problem-solving
- personalised care
- managing self
- learning in practice.
You will have the opportunity to learn with and from other health and social care professionals and enjoy a mixture of learning styles, such as face-to-face teaching, online and distance learning and self-directed learning.
