APP754 course details (masters level)
At the end of the module you will be able to:
- critically analyse the underlying pathophysiology of diabetes mellitus
- critically analyse the management and treatment of diabetes mellitus and explore the implications for contemporary practice
- critically analyse potential acute and chronic complications of diabetes mellitus
- critically appraise the epidemiological data and the influences, drivers and policies relating to diabetes mellitus and the impact on patient care.
The formative assessment is a presentation and the summative assessment is a written assignment.
