Transatlantic Exchanges Forum

Transatlantic Exchanges Forum

Welcome to the Transatlantic Exchanges Forum

The Transatlantic Exchanges Forum website, supported both by the AHRC and the Plymouth University is an international resource for all researchers engaged within the interdisciplinary field of Transatlantic Studies. The primary purpose of the site is to act as an international information hub available to all researchers for both locating and disseminating research activities and events related to Transatlantic Studies: national and international academic networks, conferences, publications, calls for papers and academic programmes. The website is the external face of the Plymouth University’s extensive transatlantic activities from reports on our international symposia and conference programme to information on related publications, staff projects and plans for future expanded Transatlantic Studies initiatives taking in the wider Atlantic rim.

 Mayflower 400

Mayflower 400 is an initiative led by the University of Plymouth and involving partners in the city as well as in Southampton and London. Its purpose is to use the four hundredth anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower as an opportunity for collaboration across a variety of disciplines and in many practical ways, starting with a Virtual Museum. Further details will appear soon on a forthcoming website.
