Term dates

Plymouth University's academic year is structured around terms and not semesters. Below are current standard* term dates.

Every effort has been made to ensure that the dates below are accurate. However, students should note that dates are subject to change.
If you have to make up any placement hours which are missed during the academic year this will be done during holiday periods.

*Please note that some Faculty of Health, Education and Society courses are run with non-standard term dates. Please scroll down for a list of these courses and links to their term dates.

Spring Term
Start	7 January 2013
End	22 March 2013
Additional teaching week (after Easter vacation)*	15-19 April 2013
Summer Term
Start	22 April 2013
End	24 May 2013

* It is not possible to complete 12 teaching weeks before Easter in 2013.
Therefore the first week after the Easter vacation will also be a teaching week.
