Additional information

In 2001 I graduated from the University of Gorgan,Iran with a First Class (Honours) degree in Environmental Engineering. Whilst studying for my degree of GIS, I spent a year at the University of Tehran, Iran. During this time that I developed an interest in Environmnetal management and geographical Information System (GIS) research, particularly where research is directly linked to management and environmental planning with GIS tools. Following this, I spent two years time in India, where I achived MSc in Environmental Scinece, Pollution Control Technology project in Pune.

I started my PhD in 2007, which has been carried out at both the University of Plymouth, (UK) and the University of Twente (The Netherlands) . My research interest is the Carbon management of Agriculture and Forestry lands , Scenario planning and modeling with a particular focus on understanding how land management has influenced carbon saving rates on climate change impacts in uncertain future.
