Biography

Biography

I have worked at the University for over 12 years in various roles. Initially within ILS as a Support Desk Advisor and then moving into a 2nd line role as a Support Analyst/Assistant Computing Officer within TIS.

During this time, I have held secondment positions within Open Access IT where I was responsible for the management of the Student Fleet PC's and dealt with student personal devices e.g. if they were infected with viruses, malware etc.

I held a 2nd Line post for a number of years before moving over to the Institute of Education which is a strand of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Here I am currently a Senior Technician (ICT), where I manage a fleet of iOS devices such as iPads and Macbook's, which are used for enhancing the teaching experience both for lecturers and students enrolled on teacher training modules. The devices are used across a wide range of teaching disciplines and subjects.
