I work closely with HR and ILS colleagues to continue to make the best use of the HR system functionality (iTrent), focusing on the development of the system; rolling out new and enhanced functionality on the current version or through future upgrades to aid process and business improvement. Recent developments include:
- Employee Self-Service - employees can check / maintain their personal details
- Manager Self-Service - managers have access to relevant personal and contractual information on the employees who report to them to support business processes. This is currently being rolled out on an incremental basis to Faculties and Directorates
- The on-line system for job vacancies which enables users to search and apply for externally and internally advertised job vacancies. It allows you to complete, save and submit your application form online; removing the need to print/email a separate form. It will pre-populate some of your core information, and will remember some of the additional information you complete and will pre-populate the application form next time you apply using this service. This is available from the Extranet/About the University/Job Opportunities, from the Staff Portal on the HR Community and from a link within Employee Self-Service
