Employed as a full time Curriculum developer /Course Director / Tutor / Researcher / Administrator, assigned for facilitating the training and development of staff at all grades. Utilised in teaching on the full range of courses taught within the Trust, including Higher Educational Modules, and full involvement in examinations and ‘Return to Work’ assessment measures. Also responsible for the management of staff according to WAST policy and procedures.

2004 - Jan 2006

Emergency Planning Officer,

Westcountry Ambulance Headquarters, Exeter

Responsible for the formulation and dissemination of strategic Major Incident Contingency policy, both within WAST and also among partner organisations. Liaising with multi agencies for the preparedness and response to any CBRN/Mass Casualty events by fulfilling the statutory responsibilities advocated within the Civil Contingencies Act (2004). Other key areas of responsibility include Business Continuity, Radiation Protection advice and Pandemic / Contagious Disease planning.
