Research interests

Research interests: mammalogy, animal health, infectious diseases, ecology and conservation biology.

I am an ecologist interested in
the impact of parasites and their associated diseases on wild mammals. Parasites can influence every level of life organization, but we still know little about their role in health and ecology of wild species. To help bridging the gap between ecology and parasitology and to better understand how parasites influence their hosts at the individual and population levels, I am looking forward developing interdisciplinary studies in ecology and disease ecology of wild mammals in Brazil and the UK.
