Role
I joined the Faculty of Health, Education and Society in 2009 as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing/Public Health Nursing. Module teaching and assessment involves research methods, population health, core concepts of health and sociology of health. My PhD research explored the transnational context of Chinese medicine provision and use in the UK (NCCRCD 2003-2008). Current research is informed by University and NHS public health partnerships addressing health inequalities through local community health and sustainability initiatives. Prior research includes narratives of breast cancer experience in the first year following diagnosis.
