Qualifications & background

I obtained my degree in Geology from the Federal University of Technology, Yola – Nigeria before going to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi – Nigeria for an M. Sc. in Mineral Exploration/Economic Geology and in 2008 I took up a lecturing job at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun – Nigeria before my enrolment into a PhD programme in Geological Sciences at the University of Plymouth in Janauary 2011.

Research interests
 I am interested in the study of Terrestrial climate resconstruction across Cenozoic greenhouse and icehouse climate events using new organic and inorganic climate proxies.
