1990: Royal Society European Exchange Fellowship, University of Roma, La Sapienza. Tectonics and sequence stratigraphy of peri-Adriatic carbonate platforms.

1991-1992: Petroleum Exploration Geologist with Earth Resources Institute, Swansea, UK.

1992-present: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Petroleum Geology at University of Plymouth.

12 years petroleum exploration and production consultancy experience in Carpathians, India, West and North Africa, Madagascar, Ireland and Montenegro.
