Role

I have worked at Plymouth University for over 10 years.  I am currently based within the Research and Innovation Directorate, as Knowledge Transfer Project Adminsitrator.  I am responsible for the administration of knowledge transfer and business development activities.  

Mainly I provide a centralised administration function for KTP – which is a top level Plymouth University Key Performance Indicator.

The Knowledge Transfer and External Business Dvelopment team take a pro-active lead on sales, marketing, proposal development, graduate recruitment, project management and administration. Plymouth has national profile as a UK leader for KTP.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) is Europe's leading programme helping buisnesses to improve thier competitiveness, productivity and performance through the better use of knowledge availabe within UK academic institutions to facilitate the transfer of knowledge into businesses and organisations. KTP is collectively one of the UK's largest graduate employers with jobs available throughout the year.
