Role

I am the Senior Admissions Tutor in the School of Computing and Mathematics. If you would like to find out more about our degrees, please get in touch with me.

I have a strong interest in outreach and regularly talk in schools and at public events. Here is a partial list of talks in Mathematics and Statistics offered by various colleagues at Plymouth.

My research is in mathematical physics and I currently teach calculus, quantum mechanics and physics.

Research interests
My research is in quantum field theory and I am a member of the Plymouth Particle Theory Group. I am especially interested in constructing locally gauge invariant descriptions of charged states and in the infra-red structure of gauge theories.

Copies of my publications may be found here.

Additional information
I speak German well, Spanish reasonably and have some French. I have translated two textbooks from German into English for Springer-Verlag.
