Error correction coding and modulation, Coding Theory (code design, theoretical limits)

Information Theory for Coding and Data Compression

Signal Processing (particularly for communications, image and video processing)

Satellite and wireless communications as applications of signal processing, coding and modulation design

Communications channels, practical code design and theoretical limits (currently: AWGN, Erasure, BSC and Side-Information AWGN channels, also satellite multiple access)

Watermarking as hidden communications with side information at the transmitter

Signal processing for watermarking, Human Visual System (HVS) models, Wavelets
