Biography

Biography

I am an experienced educator with a clinical background in nursing. I have always prided myself on my commitment to teaching excellence, something which is corroborated by the high levels of positive feedback that I have received from evaluations of my lessons. My teaching experience is varied spanning all academic levels and nursing related subjects. My passion is all forms of leadership and innovation, inspiring students to lead and be the best they can be. I have experience in curriculum development, programme delivery and management and have led a team through a number of approval events successfully, fostering the teaching skills and talents of colleagues.

I am Programme Lead Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Neonatal Care Apprenticeship Degree Programmes. Gaining Health Education England accreditation against the ACP multi professional framework is testament to the standard of the programme. HEE accredited Advanced Practice programmes are one of the benchmarked routes to recognition for practitioners and aim to ensure a consistent level of quality in advanced level practice education across England. I am also part of a team working with HEE on the portfolio route to accreditation for individuals.
