Research interests
My research interests centre on investigating changes in cardiovascular ion channel function induced by disease states, and by pharmacological modulation.  I am particularly interested in understanding the relationship between ion channel function and calcium release in sinoatrial and atrioventricular nodal myocytes, and how this is altered in diseases, like Type I and Type II Diabetes.
