Role Qualifications & background
Professional membership Research interests Healing environments and restorative environments Most of my research focuses on effects of the physical healthcare environment on health and well-being of patients and healthcare personnel. I studied the effects of a variety of environmental stimuli (e.g. nature, colour, music). The main project involves investigating the effects of using virtual reality in a dental context. Other new projects concern the restorative effects of virtual nature interventions.Publications Tanja-Dijkstra K, Pieterse ME.
