Research interests My main research interest lays in urban theory in the context of post-secular philosophy, from Harvey Cox to Slavoj Zizek and Alain Badiou. I am interested in evolution of (post)socialist cities, crisis of the contemporary neoliberal city model and the relationship between cognitive capitalism and urban form. More recently I've been working on projects focused on urban dynamic segregation, comparison between Chinese and Eastern European cities and the city as a machine of oppression. At the moment I am working on a book about urban revolutions.
I am currently second supervisor of one MPhil/PhD student.
