Dr. Joasia Krysa is founding director of KURATOR/AST (Art and Social Technologies Research) and Associate Professor (Reader) in Art and Technology at the University of Plymouth, UK.
She is a co-editor of DATA browser book series (published by Autonomedia, New York), Member of the Council of Management for WRO Media Art Foundation (Wroclaw, Poland), and currently part of the curatorial team for Documenta 13 (2012, Kassel).
She regularly contributes to international juries such as ARCO International Contemporary Art Fair in Madrid (2007-2010) and scientific advisory
boards including International
Scientific Committee of the 1st International
Congress on Web Studies at Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico (2010) and the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation Scientific Committee for Art - Science in the
European Union project (2009-2010).
