Research interests
My main focus of interest is in the area of psycholinguistics, in particular the use of electrophysiology (Event Related Potentials) to examine the cognitive processes involved in lexical access.

I am currently engaged in research investigating the processing of regional and foreign accented speech, the disparate role of vowels and consonants during lexical access, and the role of the syllable in speech perception and production.

More recently I developed an interest in embodied theories of cognition, and am now involved in an electrophysiological examination of object-based affordance in both visual and linguistic modalities.
