Biography

I work in the Research Funding Managers' team providing support and advice to research staff across the university to help deliver successful funding proposals. I deal with a wide range of national and international funders including the EU, Research Councils and charities. I identify funding opportunities, develop applications, run training sessions and support the application submission process.

Qualifications

Fellow, Association of University Administrators
MBA, University of Plymouth
MA English Language and Literature, University of Silesia (Poland)

For over 20 years I have worked in support and management roles within higher education both in academic departments and central services. Previously I coordinated the Research Excellence Framework 2014 institutional submission and helped develop and capture research impact.  In the past I was involved in the whole of the student journey from admissions and programme approvals to registration, assessment and graduation ceremonies. I have spent most of my working life at University of Plymouth where I have actively promoted Association of University Administrators (AUA) membership among my colleagues, particularly in further education colleges in the South West. Through this work I was instrumental in Plymouth being awarded the AUA Branch Good Practice Award in 2008.
