Role Qualifications & background Professional membership Roles on external bodies Teaching interests Research interests Creative practice & artistic projects Filmography I have been making short video films since 2001. Prior to that I made some super-8 films for scenographic backdrops for my own choreography. Interested in movement and its real-time observation I have filmed dance improvisation, work- and everyday-movements. I like to think of what I do as camera-witnessing, a kind of empathetic, slow observation. My films allow viewers to spend time gazing rather than catching up with a stream of rushing images. My films offer time to simply look and absorb movement.
