Role
My primary role is to help maintain and develop the existing Extranet/Intranet and support the various content management systems that are used to update them such as the main CMS and the Courses CMS. My job role will soon be shifting towards SharePoint development as it becomes the main technology used for a number of our web systems such as the student portal.
My main skills are web applications development and database design/maintenance using various microsoft technologies such as the .NET framework and SQL. I mainly use the VB and C# programming language to maintain the university web systems using the Visual Studio development environment. I am also skilled in XML and XSLT as much of the web content is XML based.
