Teaching interests
I was responsible for the development of the Project Management group at Richard Ellis from 1980 onwards and am particularly proud of its achievements in the field of new commercial developments. Thus I am very interested in the field of development management and teach that module.
As I commenced professional life as a Building Surveyor and my father was also a Building Surveyor, I enjoy teaching the application of BS theory in Practice.

Many articles published whilst in professional working life relating to Development Management, and on finished projects such as Toyota, Lanesborough Hotel, Lloyds building, Briarcliff House Farnborough. "Towards Tomorrow's Workplace" published with Harris Research for Richard Ellis. MSc thesis was "Project Management Theory and Practice". MA Dissertation was "Has Climate Change affected the Longevity of Thatched Roofs in Devon"
